CORUNNA, Ind. (WANE) - Indiana State Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that took place in rural DeKalb County early Sunday morning.
59-year-old Richard Leins of Corunna was arrested Monday around 10:30 p.m. on preliminary charges of attempted murder. Police say Leins shot 51-year-old Larry Daley early Sunday morning in a dispute over money.
Daley was shot in the head, face, neck, throat, shoulder and hand with a 22 caliber semi automatic rifle. He was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
Leins is being held in the DeKalb Co. Jail without bond.
