LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A woman is facing charges after she led police on a short pursuit in LaGrange County late Friday night with four children in the car.
An Indiana State Trooper said he attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on County Road 650 N near County Road 1100 E around 11:00 p.m. Friday.
Police said the driver of the vehicle, Jilyan Snyder, 29, of Hudson, accelerated and continued driving westbound on 650 N and then northbound on 1100 E.
The ISP trooper said during the short pursuit, Synder was throwing items out of her car window.
Around 11:05 p.m., Synder stopped the car on State Road 120 and County Road 475 E after realizing she had a flat tire, according to police.
Police said Synder had four children, ages six to 13, in the vehicle with her during the pursuit. There was also a 25-year-old male passenger in the car. Police said the passenger was not charged with anything at this time.
An unknown amount of methamphetamine was located inside of Snyder’s purse at the time of her arrest, according to officers.

Snyder also had arrest warrants issued for her out of Noble County for possession of methamphetamine and visiting a common nuisance, according to police.
