FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A woman was robbed and had her hands tied with duct tape after a man forced his way into her home, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Police responded to the reported strong-arm robbery in the 1800 block of Hale Avenue around 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday. The victim told police that a man forced his way in the house, taped her hands together with duct tape and demanded money. She told police the man got away with her cell phone.

She said she then went to a gas station close by and used a customer's cell phone to call police. No injuries were reported.
