FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- A Wisconsin woman jailed for promoting prostitution in Indiana appeared in Allen County court for the first time Monday.

Michelle Mullins, 29, has been accused of bringing two girls to the Fort Wayne area to sell sex.

In court Monday, Mullins agreed that she understood the charges against her which include promoting prostitution and charges for possession marijuana and controlled substances.

Undercover officers completed a prostitution investigation in Fort Wayne March 29.

One of the girls allegedly involved in accepting clients in Kokomo, Ind. told officers she was 16-years-old and had been driven from Wisconsin by Mullins.  The juvenile told officers that Mullins advised her to make money if she was going to have sex, according to court documents.

Mullins admitted to police that she helped a young woman post an advertisement for sex on a website.

A future court date to set a trial was scheduled for April 25.
