FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A judge gave Breezy Parker, the mother of four children who were physically and emotionally abused, an eight-year prison sentence Monday morning, but suspended all of it. Breezy will spend the next five years on probation.
According to court documents, Parker would leave her kids with her live-in boyfriend, Antonio Henderson, while she was working. Henderson abused them by choking and beating them.
Henderson also put the children's heads in the cage of his pet Boa Constrictor.
Three of the four kids were diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Parker claimed she never knew the abuse was going on.
A judge will give Henderson his sentence next month.
