WESTVILLE, Ind. (WANE) - A woman was arrested on Saturday after she attempted to smuggle contraband to an inmate in the Westville Correctional Facility.

Ashley Reavis, 27, of Columbia City, was visiting inmate Blake Settles, 29, of Fort Wayne, when police found her with contraband as she was checking in.

Westville Correctional Facility Superintendent Mark Levenhagen said that when fights and violence occur in jail, they can usually be traced back to contraband.

Police said Reavis is charged with Trafficking, a class C felony.
