SYRACUSE, Ind. (WANE) - Police arrested a woman after an undercover officer purchased prescription pills from her Thursday.
Police said Carol Ann Garcia Cruz, 44, of Elkhart, sold the officer numerous pills in the parking lot of a business, which was across the street from a preschool in Syracuse.
According to police, Cruz was charged with Dealing a Schedule III Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of a School, a class A felony.
Cruz is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail. Her bond is set at $20,000.
