WARSAW, Ind. (WANE) - Police are investigating the death of a 56-year-old Warsaw man after a neighbor called for a welfare check on an unresponsive man at around 7:35 p.m. Thursday.
Police said they found the victim, Randall Jones, of Warsaw, on the stairs of a vacant duplex in the 200 block of N. Fort Wayne Avenue in Warsaw.
Multi-Township EMS transported Jones to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said Frankie Lee Poe, 40, of Warsaw, is being held on no bond and is a person of interest in this death investigation. Poe was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on preliminary charges of residential entry to the vacant duplex.
