FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Police said two men carjacked a food delivery man at gunpoint at around 2:00 p.m. Friday near the area of Sherwood Terrace and South Park Drive.
Police said the delivery man could not find the address he was looking for so he stopped his car. That's when two men with guns approached his car.
According to police, the suspects forced the driver of the car into the back seat and drove away. They stopped the car in an alley just off Sherwood Terrace.
Police said the suspects then stole the victim's keys and wallet and fled.
Officer Raquel Foster, Fort Wayne Police Department's Public Information Officer, said this has been a common problem with delivery drivers.
"We have seen two other incidents in the past month where someone delivering food has been ambushed," she said. "Fortunately, there have been no injuries, but it's alarming because we don't want to see it happen again."
Police K9 units are trying to track the suspects.
According to police, nobody was hurt.
