AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) Police have arrested two people in connection with a string of armed robberies that took place in Auburn over the last week.
Since July 1, officers have responded to three bicycle thefts, one theft of a vehicle, three thefts from homes, and 18 thefts from vehicles. Of the 18 thefts from vehicles, 17 were left unlocked and ten happened the same day in the area of 1100 Huron Way.
Police have arrested Andrew Myers, 22, and Makayla DePriest, 21. Both face a charge of receiving stolen auto parts, receiving stolen property, and a drug-related charge.
Auburn police are asking everyone to be alert and immediately report any suspicious activity.
