Two arrested for meth production in Butler

BUTLER, Ind. (WANE) - Butler police arrested two men after a six month investigation into the production of methamphetamine.

Police said they executed a search warrant at around 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the 300 block of East Main Street in Butler.

Kelsey Bates,19, was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of meth within a 1,000 feet of a school, a class B felony
  • Possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, a class C felony
  • Unlawful sale of precursers, a class D felony
  • Possession or use of a Legend Drug, a class D felony
  • Possession of Paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor

Tyler Mobley, 22, was also arrested and charged with visiting a common nuisance, a Class B misdemeanor. Further charges are still pending against Mobley.
