KOKOMO, Ind. (Kokomo Tribune) - Police in Kokomo arrested a man after twin 2-year-olds were found suffering from alcohol poisoning.
Officers who were responding to an incomplete 911 call stopped a vehicle and learned the occupants of the car lived in the home where the call came from, the The Kokomo Tribune reports.
Police say they found a 2-year-old in the car unresponsive. The child’s twin and another child, 3, were found back at the home suffering from some sort of illness.
The twins were flown to a hospital in Indianapolis where they were treated for alcohol poisoning.
The driver of the car, Joel O'Bannon, was arrested and faces two preliminary charges of neglect of a dependent, a Class B felony.
