FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne police are investigating how a pickup truck ended up hitting a porch at a house early Friday morning.
Around 1:30 a.m., officers arrived at the corner of Wilt and Rockhill Streets and found a red pickup truck off the road and into a cement porch of a house.
According to police, a passenger in the truck was treated for minor injuries. The driver was not at the location of the accident and has not been found by police.
The truck sustained damage to the front. The cement porch didn't appear to have damage, except for a few small pieces of concrete that broke away.
The home is vacant, according to police.
Officers believe alcohol might be a factor in the crash.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fort Wayne Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
