AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) A traffic stop in Garrett on Saturday, October 27, 2012 led to the discovery of meth making equipment at an apartment in Auburn.

Just after 1 pm, police pulled over a car and a drug detection K-9 was requested.  The dog gave a positive alert and after searching the vehicle, officers found several methamphetamine related items and a gun.  One of the occupants, Kayla A. Reith, 21, of Auburn then gave officers written consent to search her apartment after another occupant of the vehicle told police they could find a meth lab there and an individual who was wanted on an active warrant.

Officers found meth making equipment and paraphernalia inside the apartment located in the 500 block of South Indiana Street.

Reith was arrested on various charges including dealing methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a school.

Also arrested were Greg E. Slone, 37, of Garrett and Steven Michael Slone, 24, of Auburn.
