Three arrested on meth charges in Steuben County

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) Three adults and one juvenile were taken into custody early Wednesday after officers delivering an arrest warrant discovered a meth lab on the property.

At 3 a.m. on Wednesday, Officers with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police attempted to serve an arrest warrant at a Pleasant Lake residence. While searching the place for the wanted person, officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia usually associated with meth.

A meth lab was also discovered in a camper that was on the property.

The following adults were arrested:

• Jared Pease, 20, of Fremont. Pease has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia.
• Tracia Handshoe, 33, of Pleasant Lake. Handshoe has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine & Manufacturing Methamphetamine.
• Joshua Crager, 42, of Corunna. Crager has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine & Manufacturing Methamphetamine

The Ashley Police Department and Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team also assisted at the scene.
