Shooting on Reed St. leaves man in serious

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A shooting on Reed Street Wednesday night left a man in serious condition.

According to Fort Wayne Police Department's Public Information Officer Raquel Foster, Cedric L. West, 23, of Fort Wayne, said he had an argument with someone at a gas station.

The argument escalated and moved to a house on the 3000 block of Reed Street. The suspected pulled a gun and shot West. The shooter then ran south away from the scene.

West was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

The incident remains under investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Department.
