FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A second victim has died after a Friday night shooting in the 700 block of West Milton Street.

The Allen County Coroner announced on Tuesday that Jeremy J. Walker, 22, of Fort Wayne, died as a result of the shooting. Walker had been admitted to the hospital on Friday night after the shooting.

Paul W. Ward III, 22, of Fort Wayne, was also killed in the shooting.

Police said the shots rang out around 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of West Milton Street.

Initially, police said two victims were in critical condition, but confirmed about an hour after the incident occurred that one person had died.

Investigators say there were three men inside a car on Milton Street. Both men that were shot were found inside the vehicle. Witnesses tell police they saw the third man get out of the car and leave the scene. Police will not say if he was a part of the shooting.
