FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Police responded to a reported armed robbery at Laredo's Restaurant on Broadway around 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to the police report, two black men entered the restaurant and demanded cash. One man was reportedly armed with a handgun and the other with a stun gun.

The report said both men fled the scene in different directions as a police officer arrived, throwing off articles of clothing while doing so. The officer pursued one man on foot but eventually lost track.

An attempt to track the perpetrators with a canine unit was unsuccessful. The two men remain at large.

Police collected the clothing as evidence. They also found a roll of coins that had been taken from the register and handbag that had been taken from a restaurant employee.

No injuries have been reported.

The incident is under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

Police are asking that any information regarding this case be reported to the Fort Wayne Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
