ALBION, Ind. (WANE)--Officers in Noble County said they caught and arrested two women who tried to sneak K2 into the Chain O' Lakes Correctional Facility inside Chain O' Lakes State Park.

Police say Stephanie Nyers and Misty Carr were coming to visit inmate Chad Duke.  Duke is Nyers' boyfriend.

As the two were driving toward the facility, an officer who was patrolling the woods nearby said he saw them throw out some K2, a type of synthetic marijuana.

The officer identified the K2 and waited in the location.  Inmate Roger Storey is said to have sneaked away from the facility to retrieve it.  The officer took him into custody.

Nyers and Carr have been arrested and taken to the Noble County Jail.  Storey and Duke have also been transported to the Noble County Jail.  Leaders at the facility said Storey had around 50 days left before he was to be released.

Charges for all four thought to be involved are pending upon further investigation.
