FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Police have identified the suspect who robbed a woman at gunpoint and is seeking the public's help in finding her.
On Friday, January 11 around 8:30 p.m., police say Traci Dennison entered the Walgreens on State Road 1 and approached the checkout with an item. When the cashier scanned the item, the woman pointed a black handgun at the cashier and demanded money.
When the cashier was unable to open the register, the suspect then turned the gun towards a customer and demanded the customer's purse, then fled the store with it.
The purse contained an undisclosed amount of cash and several credit cards.
Police said Dennison, 36, has two active warrants regarding this incident, one for robbery and the second for attempted robbery.
According to police, Dennison may also go by the name Traci Copeland.
