Police searching for suspect in early morning armed robbery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- Fort Wayne Police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery which took place early Tuesday morning.

According to a spokesperson with the FWPD, a man wearing a red face covering and dark clothing entered the Marathon Stop N Go on North Clinton Street around 2:49 Tuesday morning, armed with a gun.

The suspect demanded and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
