FISHERS, Ind. (WANE)  Police arrested two people who may have been involved in multiple thefts in Marion and Hamilton Counties.

On October 30, officers were called to the Kittle's Distribution Center, located at 8600 Roberts Drive, in reference to three people attempting to purchase furniture using fraudulent information. Kittle's employees reported the suspects backed a U-Haul truck into the store's loading dock.

When police got there, they approached two men standing near the U-Haul. An officer detained the man in the U-Haul, but the other man got into a passenger van and drove away. Police followed and when the van was pulled over, the driver jumped out and fled on foot into the Walmart parking lot. An officer chased him but wasn't able to catch him. A female passenger was also detained.

After questioning, police arrested the man and woman, who were identified as Rogar Simmons, 34, of Cleveland, and Michelle M. Doehring, 53, also from Cleveland. Both are facing a felony charge of theft.

Police believe the suspects may be responsible for other thefts and the investigation continues.
