AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) - Police arrested a man early Monday morning after they found two active Methamphetamine labs in his coat pockets.
Police said they responded to a drug tip at 1117 Irene Street and found Jeffery Hamilton, 29, of Auburn, in the driveway.
Officers said they smelled a strong chemical odor coming from Hamilton. Police then found two active meth labs inside of Hamilton's coat pockets.
The home owner, Josephine Martinez, gave police consent to search the house. Police found more evidence of manufacturing and use of Methamphetamine inside.
Police said Hamilton was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Dealing Methamphetamine. Additional charges are pending.
