STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - Police found a meth lab and stolen property on Wednesday after investigating suspicious activity in a wooded area in Steuben County.

Police said they received a call about a suspicious van that had driven back into the woods on CR 600 W north of CR 200 S in rural Jackson Township.

Police found Scotty Miller, 33, of Fort Wayne, in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and suspected Meth paraphernalia.

Police said a search warrant of the van turned up several items associated with manufacturing meth. Several guns and other items that were reported stolen from a LaGrange County residence were also found inside the van.

Miller was arrested on one count of possession of Methamphetamine with a firearm, a class C felony and one count of possession of paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor. Additional charges may be filed.

Miller is being held on a $22,505 bond.
