Police ask public to help find pickup

LaGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE)  The LaGrange County Sheriff's Department has asked for the public's help in finding a pickup truck and whoever owns it that may have been used in a large number of thefts and burglaries in Indiana and Michigan.

The truck is believed to be a 1990's Dodge 4x4 with several accessories including a visor over the windshield, a chrome handle behind the driver's side door and chrome bed rails.  

The thefts took place in LaGrange and Elkhart counties in Indiana as well as St. Joseph and Branch counties in Michigan.

Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to call the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department at 260-463-7491.
