Police ask for help in finding shooting suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Police are asking for help in finding Quinn D. James, 28, in connection with Saturday's shooting of Antonio L. Hamlet near the intersection of Standish Dr. and Fairfax Ave.

Officials said Hamlet was walking down the road around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday when a car pulled up. That's when someone got out, shot at Hamlet, then left the scene.

A warrant for attempted murder/aggravated battery was issued for James but police efforts to locate him have not been successful.

Anyone with information on with information is asked to call the City of Fort Wayne Police at 260 427-1222, or Crime Stoppers at260 436-7867 (STOP).
