FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - An argument ended Saturday night with a man suffering serious injuries from a gunshot.

According to John Chambers, an officer with the Fort Wayne Police Department, a group of men were walking near the intersection of Oxford St. and Winter St. when approached by two other men.

The two parties started fighting before shots were fired around 9:49 p.m.

The victim was shot once.  Medics transported him to a local hospital in serious condition.
