FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - An argument ended Saturday night with a man suffering serious injuries from a gunshot.
According to John Chambers, an officer with the Fort Wayne Police Department, a group of men were walking near the intersection of Oxford St. and Winter St. when approached by two other men.
The two parties started fighting before shots were fired around 9:49 p.m.
The victim was shot once. Medics transported him to a local hospital in serious condition.
Chambers said the suspects involved ran from the scene. Police did not immediately have any information about the people involved. No arrests were made.
