FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) The Fort Wayne Police Department is looking for a suspect in an armed robbery. On Tuesday, Sept. 25 at about 12:42 p.m., the suspect entered the Barto’s Service Station located at 1201 E. Creighton Avenue.
A witness told police the man entered the store just briefly, left and then returned with a handgun and with his face concealed.
He left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
Investigators obtained and distributed a still-image from the in-store surveillance. Anyone with any information on the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department, or Crime Stoppers at 260 436-STOP (7867). A cash reward is possible for information received.
This incident remains under investigation with the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
