NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) The New Haven Police Department is investigating an early morning auto parts burglary.
According to police, between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. five people broke into a fenced area of Economy Auto Parts at the 5100 block of Old Maumee Rd.
The suspects stole about 600 aluminum wheel rims and a Chevy S-10 pick-up truck. The truck is a two tone grey color, has a trailer hitch and has eyeballs drawn into the headlights.
Surveillance video caught two suspect vehicles. One was a 1990s Chevy Silverado pick-up truck with an extended cab. The other car s a newer Chevy Silverado that was pulling a small wooden trailer in the surveillance footage.
Anyone with information on this burglary or any of the three vehicles described is asked to call Detective McCracken (260) 748-7093.
