Meth bust nabs 2 in Huntington

HUNTINGTON Ind. (WANE) - The Huntington Police Department arrested two people Tuesday evening after a drug bust led to the discovery of methamphetamine inside a Huntington home.

According to a police report, around 6:00 p.m., investigators executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Briant Street.

Police arrested Chasidy D. Maggard, 37, for possession of a schedule III controlled substance and possession of meth, both class D felonies.

Also arrested was Rodney S. Downey, 45, charged with illegal drug lab, a class C felony, and manufacturing meth, a class A felony.

The Huntington County Sheriff's Department and Indiana State Suppression Team assisted with the investigation.
