Man wanted on drug charges found at Travelers Inn

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) Huntington City Police and Huntington County Police arrested a man wanted on drug charges early Friday morning.

On May 25, 2012 the Huntington Police Department, Huntington County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Police Emergency Response Team served a search warrant at a home in the 1300 block of Grant Street.

A search was conducted in regard to making methamphetamine.

A male and a female were taken into custody, but police were asking for assistance in locating Ronnie D. Keene, 54. Around 1:50 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 police arrested Keene.

Keene was found at the Travelers Inn on Coliseum Blvd. in Fort Wayne.

He was taken to the Huntington County Jail.

Keene is charged with dealing meth within 1000 feet of a public park, possession of two or more chemical reagents/precursors, with intent to manufacture, while in possession of a firearm.
