Man walks into St. Joseph Hospital with stab wounds

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Police are investigating a stabbing that left one man injured Monday morning.

Police said a man walked into the emergency room at St. Joseph Hospital around 7:25 a.m. with stab wounds.

Police discovered the victim had been stabbed at a home located in the 800 block of St. Mary's Avenue. According to police, the victim went to the home to visit an acquaintance. A disturbance ensued and the man was stabbed.

Police said a man is in custody following the incident.

The victim was initially listed in fair condition, but he has since been released.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
