FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A Fort Wayne man that was found with over 200 child porn video files on his computer was sentenced to five and a half years in prison Wednesday.

According to the federal court officials in Fort Wayne, Brian Schinbeckler, 52, was also ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and serve and additional five years of supervised release after pleading guilty to the felony offense of distribution of material depicting sexual exploitation of minors.

The investigation into Schinbeckler’s conduct began in May 2009 when an undercover Hamilton County Metropolitan Internet Child Exploitation Task Force agent used a publicly available peer-to-peer file sharing program to download multiple video files depicting children engaged in sexually explicit conduct from a user.

After finding Schinbeckler through the internet service provider, a federal search warrant was served at Schinbeckler’s Fort Wayne home. Law enforcement found hundreds of videos and images depicting children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
