Man shows up at hospital after being shot

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting after a man showed up at Parkview Randalia Hospital suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Police believe the shooting occurred in the 500 block of East Rudisill Boulevard near Avondale Drive around 1 a.m. Monday.

After the shooting, the man apparently was taken by car to Parkview Hospital off East State Boulevard and then transported to Parkview Regional Medical Hospital with minor injuries.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department.
