FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Fort Wayne police now have Michael Lewis in custody. Police said he turned himself in late Monday afternoon.
Police have charged Lewis with the murder of Christopher Mhoon at Cap N' Cork .
The probable cause affidavit states that two witnesses from the scene and several tips from the public identified Lewis as the shooter from in the store's surveillance video.
One witness said he gave two people, one of them Lewis, a ride to the Cap n' Cork store. He said the other passenger got in a fight with Mhoon and he tried to break up the fight but Lewis pushed him out of the way. He told police that he then heard six or seven shots.
The man then told police he ran out of the store with the passenger and Lewis and they all got back in the car and drove away from the liquor store. The witness said Lewis took off running once they got back.
