INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - An Indianapolis man who pleaded guilty to murdering his mother and grandparents has been sentenced to life in prison plus 130 years.

Kenneth Lee Allen pleaded guilty Jan. 8 to killing his 53-year-old mother, Sharon Allen, and his grandparents, 91-year-old Leander Bradley and 75-year-old Betty Bradley.

Police have said the 34-year-old Allen fatally stabbed his mother Dec. 30, 2004, after she refused to help him steal $200,000 from his grandparents. They say he smothered his grandmother and beat his grandfather to death four days later, then buried the three bodies in concrete in his grandparents' basement.

Allen and his sister, Kari, were arrested Feb. 8, 2005. The victims' bodies were found the next day.

Kari Allen, now 23, faces sentencing March 12 after pleading guilty to three conspiracy counts.
