LAGRANGE, Ind. (WANE) A LaGrange man is facing charges after police say he made threats to another person in the parking lot of a business in Topeka on Wednesday.
According to the LaGrange County Sheriff Department, Joas Eicher, 28, directly threatened another man, indicated that he had a handgun, and caused damage to a vehicle.
Less than an hour later, police located Eicher in downtown Topeka and took him into custody. He was not armed.
Eicher faces preliminary charges of attempted aggravated battery, intimidation, and criminal mischief. He'll be in court Thursday.
