KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A Warsaw man was arrested Thursday afternoon after police said he exposed himself to Amish school children last Friday.

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department (KCSD), the incident happened at an Amish school southeast of Nappanee.

KSCD investigators received information of a license plate number, which led them to Darrin Ray Gibbs, 46, of 2441 West, County Road 250 South in Warsaw.

Police said Gibbs admitted that he stopped outside the Amish school and exposed and touched himself in front of the school children.

Police also found during the investigation that Gibbs had two previous convictions of indecent exposure in Michigan in 1989 and 1991.

Gibbs was arrested and charged with felony public indecency/indecent exposure and felony vicarious sexual gratification.

The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office set Gibb’s bond at $2,000.  As of Friday morning, he was still incarcerated in the Kosciusko County Jail.
