FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- A Wisconsin woman is facing federal charges for promoting prostitution after admitting she brought two girls to the Fort Wayne area to sell sex.

According to court documents, undercover officers busted the setup last week.

One of the girls told the officer Michelle Mullins drove her from Wisconsin and told her that if she was going to have sex, she might as well be making money.

At this time, it is unclear how old the girls are or what the relationship is between them and Mullins.

However, according to the probable cause affidavit, Mullins admitted to police she helped one girl post an advertisement for sex on a website and that there were two clients in Kokomo.

That girl told police Mullins said she just needed to listen to her and she would be all right.  She also told police she wasn't allowed to keep any of the money she earned.

Federal charges were filed against Mullins Wednesday morning.

She is scheduled to appear in court in the next few days. In the meantime, she is still incarcerated in the Allen County Jail.
