FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne firefighters put out three car fires early Tuesday morning.

The first happened in the 2500 block of Priscilla Lane around 12:30 a.m. A car was on fire near a house and carport, but firefighters had the fire out before it spread.

The second fire, around 1:15 a.m., happened in the 300 block of McKinnie Avenue near South Lafayette Street. Firefighters also doused flames in an SUV.

The third fire was reported around 3:15 a.m. on Stardale Avenue in the Twin Oaks Apartment Complex.

Firefighters put out a van that caught fire near a carport. Flames from the vehicle were intense enough to melt some vinyl siding on the carport.

In all three cases, no injuries were reported.

All three vehicles were a total loss.

Fire officials have not said if the three cases are related.
