FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting on South Hanna Street Sunday evening.

Around 7:50 p.m., officers were called to the 2500 block of South Hanna St.

Police said when they arrived, they found a man who had been shot several times. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he later died.

The Allen County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Jeremy Crews, 25, of Fort Wayne. Crews' death is the third homicide in Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2013.

Investigators are continuing to look for evidence and talk to any possible witnesses. Currently, police have no suspect information.

Police said Crews was around a vehicle, but aren't sure if he was inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fort Wayne Police Department or Crime Stoppers .
