FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne police are still searching for a suspect in an afternoon shooting that left at least one man hurt Saturday.

Police were called to 900 Francis St. around 3:35 p.m. There was apparently some kind of altercation between two men on the second floor in the East Central Towers and Gardens apartments. At some point, guns were fired, police said.

One adult man was shot in a leg and was taken to a hospital in serious condition. Police said there is possibly a second victim. Investigators are still trying to determine who else was involved in the altercation and if there is a second victim.

Officers, including a K-9 unit, were searching the area for that possible second victim. Police are still interviewing other people who live in the apartment building.

No one is in police custody, but two people were brought to the police station for questioning. Police have not released any more information about this shooting.
