DENVER (AP) -- An Indiana man will have to register as a sex offender after pleading guilty in federal court in Denver to charges alleging child exploitation.
A plea agreement says 35-year-old Steven Raines, of Fort Wayne, started chatting online in April with a Colorado-based undercover agent posing as a single mother of two girls when he expressed interest in having sex with all three. Raines allegedly sent the agent child pornography.
He pleaded guilty last week to attempted coercion and enticement, and to distribution of child pornography. His plea agreement stipulates a sentence of 30 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release.
