FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne police are investigating an armed robbery at the Dairy Queen on North Coliseum Boulevard Monday night.

Armed robbers struck the restaurant just before closing time, around 9 p.m. Police said the robbers tied up and injured two workers in the process, according to Fort Wayne police.

Police said two masked men went into the store, one armed with a gun, and ordered the only two employees who were in the building to the ground. Police said the men zip-tied the hands of the two employees.

The men got away with some cash, according to police.

Police said the employees were left with minor injuries.

The robbers ordered something from the drive-thru not long before returning to commit the crime, according to investigators.

The incident remains under investigation.
