FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A Grand Jury indicted a Huntington County man on three child pornography counts on Wednesday.
Nathan Hasty, 34 , was arrested on September 28 after the FBI was tipped off by Facebook of suspicious accounts and conducted an investigation into what Hasty was doing on Facebook.
Court documents said Hasty had three fake accounts which he used to message dozens of boys (most between the ages of 12 and 14), in order to flirt with these boys, to start sexual conversations, and to ask for pictures of the boys. Documents stated he also asked the boys for webcams sessions, claiming he didn't have a camera and could only watch.
The Facebook report linked these accounts by IP addresses and browser cookies.
Hasty, was a Campus Life Director for Youth for Christ, according to court documents released at the time of his initial arrest.
No bond has been set. A Motion for detention filed by the U.S. Attorney asks the court to detain him: "...the defendant is a danger to the community and a serious flight risk."
