CELINA, Ohio (WANE)  Police in Celina, Ohio used K9 officers to search for drugs and discovered pot in a car in the high school parking lot.

The sweep was conducted Wednesday at Celina Senior High School, Celina Middle School, and the Tri-Star building.

Police said there were several "hits" on lockers, but nothing but a residual odor of marijuana on clothing was found inside the school. Two vehicles in the Celina Senior High School parking lot were found to contain contraband. Cigarettes found in one car were turned over to school officials and that student is facing school disciplinary action.

The other car was found to contain a small amount of marijuana. A 17-year old student was also turned over to school officials, but is facing charges in Mercer County Juvenile Court. Due to her age, her name is not being released.

A vehicle in the Tri-Star parking lot was also found to have marijuana in it. Jeffrey Custer, 21, was charged with minor misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under suspension. Custer was in the lot waiting to pick up a student after dismissal.
