DNR busts man for selling illegal turtles

MONROE, Ind. (WANE) Conservation officers found illegal box turtles and a marijuana growing operation inside the home of a an Adams County man after they executed a search warrant on January 24, 2012.
Nick P. Comment, 23, of Monroe faces charges of Illegal Possession of Box Turtles, Illegal Sale of Wildlife, Growing and Cultivating Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia and Driving While Suspended with a prior conviction.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources obtained a search warrant for Comment's home after learning he was selling Eastern Box Turtles. While serving the warrant they found eight illegal turtles and the marijuana growing operation in the home of the basement.
