WARSAW, Ind. (WANE) - A Warsaw man was arrested Monday night near Silver Lake with a meth lab inside his vehicle.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy Billy Fields responded to a call in the area of Diamond Lake of a suspicious vehicle and found the vehicle near the area of SR 15 and CR 900 South. Inside the vehicle, the officer found an active one-pot method methamphetamine lab.
Anthony Joseph Hackworth, 23, Warsaw, was taken into custody and preliminarily arrested on felony manufacturing of methamphetamine. It was also determined that Hackworth had an outstanding Kosciusko County warrant for felony burglary stemming from an incident this past summer at a residence on County Farm Road.
The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab team was called to the scene to secure the meth lab. Hackworth is being held on $10,000.00 bond for the meth lab as well as a $20,000.00 bond for the burglary charge.
