HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) - A Huntington man is in jail after police seized 70 HCl generators and other components used in making methamphetamines from he and his wife's property Monday.

On November 2, Huntington County police report they went to Shawn and Michelle Prater's home at 9702 W. 700 North and in plain view found meth making materials.

After police were granted a search warrant, officers returned and then found about 70 Hydrogen Cloride gas generators and 3 reaction vessels, along with other components used the meth manufacturing process strewn throughout the property and in the attached garage.

Police say Shawn Prater had been making and using meth since January at his home in rural Huntington County.

Prater as arrested and taken to the Huntington County Jail, while four children who were living at the home at the time were taken by the Department of Child Services and remain in their care.
