KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - Police arrested two brothers Thursday morning on drug charges after the suspect involved in a stabbing Wednesday night was found in their home.

Police said Andres Oscar Cervantes, 36, and his brother, Armando Rene Cervantes, 36, were arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana.

Around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, the sheriff’s department received information that the man who was involved in a stabbing was at 314 N. Columbia Street in Warsaw.  Deputies identified Juan Alvarado, 25, of Milford, through a window, entered the home and took him into custody without incident.

According to police, officers found around one and one quarter of a pound of weed, along with paraphernalia, at the Cervantes brothers' home, located on Columbia Street.

Police also found the knife used in the stabbing at the home.

Both Cervantes are being held on individual $450 cash bonds at the Kosciusko County Jail.
